The Vancouver Canucks (NHL) had finalised the purchase of an Overwatch League (OWL) Franchise spot for the Pacific Northwest Region. This was the Canucks first big investment into esports.
Reports suggested they had spent between $35-60 Million USD to acquire the franchise. It was crucial to the ownership group that they got off on the right foot with the Overwatch esports community.
We worked with the Canucks Leadership team to:
1) Create an official announcement video presenting their OWL Team name
2) Create a video showing off their official roster
3) Design the art and video for the on-ice projections
