Gamers Without Borders was a $10 Million USD Charity Prize Fund organised by SAFEIS and the Saudi Ministry of Sports to support those struggling with the challenges presented by COVID-19.
Over the course of 7 weeks, players competed across multiple games with the prize money being donated to the players charity of choice. Over 300,000 players competed from around 82 countries.
For the International Elite Tournaments, operated by ESL, !.evel99 was commissioned to create a piece that presented the CS:GO event. We crafted a 3D piece that took us into a fully 3D modelled home of a CS:GO character, littered with Easter eggs presenting the team names competing in the event.
