Season 1 of the Call of Duty League exceeded expectations across the board: League viewership, team storylines, audience engagement and competitiveness.
Season 2 has some big shoes to fill. With COVID-19 safety measures still in full effect, the League has pivoted to Online play. With the addition of the Season 1 Champion Clayster and the untimely retirement of superstar ZooMaa, the New York Subliners needed to speak to their home fans and assure them they were still setting their sights on that #1 spot.
So we created a dialogue between New Yorkers and the Subliners players.. opting for a COVID friendly exchange. We ventured out into the streets of New York, got talking and shared New Yorkers reactions with the players.
The result was a video so New York in tone, it just felt right!
New York City knows what's up. This season, we fight for New York. #Deadass #NYSL pic.twitter.com/cpK6weWUyN
